I doubt they really hate you unless of course you've done something to them. It's more like they're trying to prove some coolness to someone and are picking on you. If that's the case just pick on them too.
As far as the bday, I don't know. I haven't had mine in 3 years now. My suggestion would be for you to do it with your family and relatives if your "friends" have left you.

Good luck with your friends and birthday and have a good time no matter what cos it's YOUR birthday and no one elses.

And just one thought on the heading of the journal. Losing your friends isn't good but that's not the end. Just seek some new better ones. The world is full of people.
